NOTE: Under Section 67 of the Victorian OHS Act, the employer must allow a representative to attend an approved course on paid time, pay the cost of the course and must pay any other associated costs. The courses approved under this section of the Act are both the HSR initial OHS training course and the annual HSR refresher OHS training course. This section also allows HSR’s to choose the approved training course they attend after consultation with their employer.
*Training is always subject to ongoing approval to run courses from WorkSafe Vic. Systec is the course provider and Ken Malcolm is the trainer. We retain the right to change, postpone or cancel a course. In the event of a cancellation, you will be offered a place in the next available course. In the event of the cancellation of a course by us where you are unable to attend another course, the liability is limited to the return of any monies paid to us already by you for the course fees.
